✤ What makes us different

Alhamdulillah, our K-8 curriculum (for students in grades Kindergarten through grade 8) is centered on instilling all of the basic skills required to function as a Muslim living in Canada.

Included in these skills are the 3 core subjects (i.e. English, Math and Science), all of which align with the requirements of the Ontario Ministry of Education. In addition to the core subjects, we also offer Arabic as a second language, Islamic studies (i.e. Fiqh, Seerah, Qaidah, etc.), and Quran recitation.

Our curriculum is delivered by qualified teachers – many of whom have either been born in Canada or were raised here. As such, many of our teachers appreciate the challenges young Muslims face in Canada. When coupled with the environment of our masjid, this helps foster open conversation and learning.

Alhamdulillah, memorization of the Quran is a source of blessings for our community and we are truly grateful to be able to continue to offer a full-time Hifz Program. To date, we have had 14 Hifz students graduate from our program – reciting the Quran with proper Tajweed and fluency, alhamdulillah.

Students in our Hifz Program focus on Quran Hifz in the morning and academic subjects in the afternoon. Academic subjects for our Hifz students include the 3 core subjects (i.e. English, Math and Science) as well as Arabic as a second language.
