Mission

The focus of Ar-Rashaad Centre (ARC) is an emphasis on the foundational elements of Islam as a means of creating a firm base upon which further spiritual and intellectual advancement may occur.

ARC aims to be an Islamic Centre catering specifically to the needs of the Brampton community. Located in Brampton-East, ARC also hopes to serve communities living in Mississauga and in Toronto’s West end.

This emphasis upon a concrete foundational understanding and spiritual-intellectual advancement are goals we hope to impart upon all people, young and old, brother and sister.

Among the many programs and services ARC intends on providing, some of the core programs and services will, insha’Allah, include:

• 5 time daily prayers
• Full-time Qur`an memorization classes
• Dawah programs
• Daily evening Madressah classes
• Evening Adult learning
• Secular studies tutoring
• Mentoring programs
• Weekend seminars
• Gatherings of remembrance (dhikr)
• Tafsir Programs
• Sister’s community programs
• Sister’s educational seminars
• Sister’s athletic activities
